problems with the ati radeon mobility 9000-driver

hello !

i hope again that someone can help me.i have a seriously problem with my ati mobility radeon 9000.i can't install the driver because the error-message says:,,...Please install the standard VGA driver...".i have tried to mod the driver with the modder on this homepage.with no success.the problem is that my screen goes crazy and makes me angry.after a while i see some pixels in different colors and i get an ,,interference".can somebody help me with this problem ?

Hi! I'm Carlos.
I have a pavilion zt3000 w/ m r 9200. right now im using the default driver i believe its 6.14 or something like it. however i have difficulties launching civ4. i just tried to use mod tools to instal catalyst 6.5, but i keep recieving the same msg about the VGA controller, has anyone a solution fot this????
