ATi Mobility Radeon 7500 + latest Omega Drivers = -NO- hardware video overlay...
Hi all!
I just reinstalled Windows XP SP3 on my notebook and I installed the latest Omega drivers.
It's an (older) Compaq Evo N610c notebook with an ATi Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics chip.
The problem is that I have -NO- hardware video overlay during video playback. (I use the latest
versions of Media Player Classic and ffdshow; all settings are correct)
In the past I had the same problem using newer (modded) ATi Catalyst drivers.
When I switched to an older version of the modded Catalyst drivers, it worked fine.
I think it's a settings/registry issue, but I don't know where to look.
One option is to use the older Catalyst drivers as I did before, but I would like to use the latest Omega drivers. (or the newest Catalyst drivers)
Thanks for the help!
PS: I have a LCD monitor hooked up on my notebook but I also have the same problem with the notebook monitor.
