X1400 Freezing with Omega Drivers 4.8.442
I'm using a Gateway M285-E, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 SP2; 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200; 1,024MB DDR2 SDRAM. I had been getting artifacts for a while (likely due to poor drivers before), so I installed the new Omega Drivers. This has eliminated the artifact problem, but now I have a freezing problem. Basically, my computer will randomly freeze every few minutes, either with the image still up, or turn to black, and VPU Recover will bring it back to me in a few seconds saying it has stopped responding to commands from the display driver.
What can I do to solve this? Is there a quick fix or might it be a hardware problem? Thanks for any help. |
