Problem with Omega drivers: Can't find motherboard AGP chipset drivers

So I'm having problems major problems ever since I installed a new version of omega drivers. I found a faq question that exactly describes my problem:

I installed the drivers, but now my screen is slow and choppy, not even my games work, what I did wrong?

You did nothing wrong, is just that one of two things happened after installation:

1. The SmartGart service did not initialize.
2. SmartGart disabled AGP support because it found a problem.

For case 1, make sure the "SmartGart" service is enabled and set to Automatic, also try starting the service manually, then restart your PC.

For case 2, make sure you have the latest motherboard AGP chipset drivers installed; they can usually be found at the motherboard’s manufacturer page or you can get them directly from the chipset supplier, like Intel, VIA, NVIDIA, etc.

I downloaded and installed the latest chipset drivers, but still have no AGP support...
Try re-installing the drivers on top now (don’t uninstall them first) and see if SmartGart gets initialized this time (there should be a black screen refresh right after reboot).

I've tried doing what the faq says, but it doesn't seem to be working:

 • I can't seem to find the chipset motherboard AGP chipset drivers. My device manager says: Intel(R) 82865G/PE/P/GV82848P Processor to AGP controller - 2571. I've tried downloading the chip detector ( Intel® Chipset Identification Utility) but it fails to identify my chipset. I've tried using the INF update utility (Confirm Download) but it doesn't seem to make any difference
 • Everytime I do a retest all on SmartGart and reboot my computer, I get a blank screen that stays blank; eventually, I have to power off my laptop. I'm starting to think that SmartGart is majorly messed up on my system
I've tried uninstalling all the drivers and reinstalling only the official dell drivers, but that doesn't work either. If anyone has any advise at all, I'll be extremely grateful.

System Spec:
Dell Inspiron 9100
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700, with Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.252
