Catalyst 8.1 mobility on HD2600 / HP 8510p no DVI/HDMI out (7.11 works perfectly)

Catalyst 8.1 mobility on HD2600 / HP 8510p no DVI/HDMI out (7.11 works perfectly)

It will not detect my monitor connected to DVI on the docking station or HDMI on the laptop, i'm back to 7.11 that works perfectly.

Any solution?

I have the same problem on the same laptop model with mod'ed Catalyst 8.1 on Windows XP Prof SP2

euarchangel - did you do anything special to install 7.11? I'm unable to get them to install (I have installed the newest bios).

i'm on vista 64... i took the normal catalyst 7.11 and modded it with DH mod tool... it works ok....

i think this new release 8.1 has some different implementation on DVI output.

I too am having this problem with 8.1 and 8.2 after using Mobility Modder to get them to lay down. Any thoughts, or did either of the other posters find a solution?
