I'm looking for the newest driver for my old Mobility Radeon.

I went to play HL 2 on Steam and it said I need a new driver. The thing is, I'm not sure what my video card model is. I bought my laptop used and the only thing I can find is that it's a Mobility Radeon card. Any ideas on what I should do?

Welcome to DriverHeaven!

We definitely need much more information than what you've provided.

Download BeLarc Advisor and post at least the system specs that include the CPU, RAM, Video Adapter, Audio Adapter, and perhaps the model of laptop you have.

Well, it doesn't say which mobility radeon you have, but judging by the specs you listed, I'd give an older set of Omega drivers a chance. Try the 4.12's, they seem to work best on my old laptop with a radeon 9000.

According to this detailed specs list, it only lists that graphics as ATI Mobility Radeon. However, in that list it does state that it's AGP 4X. The processor is Pentium III. So, yes, it's quite old and you'll need to use what Vikingod suggested.

can Half-Life 2 even run on that thing at all? that is one of the oldest laptop specs i have ever seen.

even if you can get it running, its probably gonna be so laggy that its not worth it.

I already ran it. It was just stuttering so I don't know if it's because I need a new driver or if it's just my computer.
