problem with radeon mobility x1700

Hey guys,

i have a problem with my radeon mobility x1700. I installed almost every driver, even a modded one with the modtool from driverheaven. Looks every time fine, reboot, but the quality is really bad. i can not look dvd´s in good quality...
my system:

ASUS Po31J
Core2Duo T7200
2Gb RAM
radeon x1700

i hope someone can help me, greetz dave
