Which Linux-Driver for X700 Mobility?

Hello dear members of this forum!

I got an Acer Laptop, 5024WMLI, and this notebook comes with the ATI Mobility Radeon X700-grafixcard.

Now my question:

Which driver for Linux should I use?

On the ATI-website they got two links, one says "RADEON drivers" and one says "driver for notebooks", they both got the same version-id, so I should use the driver in the notebook-section, don't I?

Maybe someone has the same grafix-card and uses it with Linux; my Linux is Suse 9.3.

Maybe someone got a link to the correct version too or knows anything about it.

I hope to use the 3d-function then because this is something which won't work properly. So I decided to download a new driver and I saw that there is a Linux-section.

Thank you very much!

Yours sincerely,
orffyre
