Why omega driver?
hello,i may ask a stupid question but still want to ask.i intall the newest omega driver that base on cat 6.7.I expect better performance when i play game.However,I notice that it more lagging while i play my game.Is that something i am missing?My card is ati mobility Radeon x700 on acer notebook.

I have an Acer with that card too. Do you install updated ATI drivers in your acer? At ati.com they were saying my notebook wasn't supported and that I should refer to the manufacturer, but the drivers that Acer provides are 2 or 3 years old!
Anyone here has been having good results ignoring that bullsh*t and installing the updated drivers from ATI? |

yes,the acer ati driver is unsophisticated.I am find the way to update it.I am install it on the acer notebook but the game seem lagger.Have u try the newest catalyst 6.8?Have u use the catalyst older than 6.7?Is it fine?
