Laptop resolution screwed up after omega drivers

I have an HP Pavilion with a mobility 200 and I installed te omega drivers to see if I could run the new hitman. Anyway, it messed up my screen resolution. The maximum is 1200x800, but now in the display settings it can go way higher. This wouldn't be a problem, but games are having trouble detecting my screen size/max resolution, so what i get is a black screen with the game in a small window in the middle.

mind boggling. any suggestions? i tried reverting to the original driver and it didn't work.
