External monitor Widescreen support for IGP 320M
Hi guys,
I have a 19" Widescreen LCD which have native resolution of 1440 x 900. I hooked it to my laptop as an external monitor. The problem that I have is that, the ATI IGP 320M driver does not support that resolution. It supports resolution up to 2k x 1k (I forgot the exact number), but it just doesn't have 1440 x 900 (altho it has 1280 x 768 support for 17" widescreen support). Is there any way to hack the driver, or anything so that it can support 1440 x 900 resolution? Laptop spec: Compaq Presario 2198ca AMD Athlon Mobile XP 2500+ 768 MB RAM 64 bit shared IGP 320M graphic chipset Windows XP Home Thanks, Haku |

Try Powerstrip
http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm It should allow you to set custom resolutions
