Well i just whent to the website of POPWW and found at the system requirements for the game. problem is POPWW does not support the laptop model Mobilety 9000 and + u need atleast 256 Ram on your graphic card and u got what 64 or 128

Well all in all laptop computers are not ment for gaming there is a lot of game manufacturers that don´t make drivers for laptop models or dont care if they support the laptop chipset well hope this solved your propblem

System Specs

Hello:

There are no significant differences between a desktop Radeon 9000 core or a Mobile version. And hense, there is always support in games when the proper drivers are installed. The only thing that would make a mobile chip different is when you try playing the game on battery power, and the CPU and GPU throttle down to save power.

you could also try the latest ATI offical drivers with our mobility modding tool to get them to install.

mobility 9000 is a radeon 9000 series, and the 256MB was system RAM, not video RAM...the 8500 series came in 64MB and 128MB flavors.

But glad you got it working...and yes, as Allan said, mobility modder will also work wonders

What version of Omega Driver? I have the same problem you had...(with KOTOR)
But every time I try to install an Omega driver I get the "INF error Video driver not found" and the DHmodtool gets nonresponsive when I try it. Any help?

I have also not been able to get the newest Catalyst drivers modded and installed with my Mobility 9000 card. I think if you use an older version of the Cat drivers it might work, but I haven't tried. Just went back to using the Omega drivers.

And yes, your M9000 card is supported and as stated earlier the 256MB RAM requirement was system RAM not VRAM.

I'll tell you all I have tried:
1) When I try to install an ATI official driver I use the modtool but then the pc start to restart again and again until I restore to the previous setting;
2) With the Omega Drivers I get the INF error Driver not found, but the modtool doesn't not help at all.

(Compaq Presario R3000 / RAM 512MB / Intel P 4 / Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP)

Juanymerja, since we are already having this discussion on your particular thread, I will continue there.

Impossible to install an Omega Driver
