All the system setting goes after the second boot!

I have Leopard 10.5.7 installed on PC (Kalyway 10.5.2 + update =10.5.7)
I have 2 sound cards
1.Realtek HIgh Def. ALC888 (onboard)and
2. Creative sound blaster Live 5.1(Attached)

The funny part is that the ALC 888 wont work and IT WONT EITHER let kx work...
After I install the kx Audio drivers, and reboot, it works.
BUT THE NEXT reboot, the driver is there in S>L>Ext...BUT NO SOUND...NEITHER IS MY SOUND card read in the midi audio option..can u plz help me..plz

Why is the sys resetting it or blocking it...????
Thanx a ton...plz help me!
