I'm trying to get component out working properly with Xv on a Gigabyte Radeon 9600 PRO 256 AGP with the DVI-to-component adapter. I'm using Version 8.22.5 of the ATI proprietary drivers and X.org 6.8.2-r6 on gentoo 2.6.15-r1. Output is to a CRT TV.

X seems to work normally but when I startup xine or try to play video in mythtv, it's like the video is stretched to where you can only see the top left 1/4 as it plays. If I disable the Xv overlay, video plays ok but performance is crappy. S-video out works fine with Xv in all ways.

It seems similar to this old bug http://lists.debian.org/debian-x/2003/01/msg00120.html
