Gave em 8 as it just seems they improved little bits here and there.
+ points
99% of artifacts have disappeared from ET
I spotted a load of shimmering underneath the tank on fuel dump, but that maybe an engine thing.
Doom3 appears much smoother - ET slightly smoother
- points
UT2004 appears to stick worse when going around corners (it didn't used to do this for me afaik)
Doom3 still not upto par with Windows in terms of speed - I hate running it @ 800x600 when Win32 does 1280x1024 + higher detail for similar frame rates.
I'm pretty sure that this is just a bug fix release based on feedback from the 1st 64bit released drivers though - so let's get Doom3 a speed boost in the next version yes

They seem stable ATM, but then again there is no room for improvement in an 9600 Pro.

Well I give them a 5, 2D works fine. But 3D gives me about 15 sec before my system hangs :-( Also I tried to give feed-back to ATI on this and I got this somewhat terse, but probably correct, statement back : 'The Linux drivers available from ATI are provide are "as is".' The same e-maili stated that 'To report issues with Linux drivers you can submit an online ticket using the “Linux Driver Feedback” Category, and your report will be received and reviewed/tested by our driver team.' Also my ticket was closed before I had a chance to comment on it. Somewhat amusing I think, and a sure way to alienate users

5 - ET works quite nicely now, and Q3 is playable as well. I have to try NWN yet.
However, xorg.conf generated DOES NOT work. FC3 hangs at "Configuring kernel parameters: "; on the other hand, if you do a little bit of manual copy-paste, it will work.
Hopefully, there will be a new driver this month.

I'm voting 6 now. The package works great on Gentoo. The only thing that really bugging me now is the lack of a good Composition thingy-me-bob. Well... that missing piece in the X window configuration so that my windows and desktop looks sleak and shiny (shadows and full window transparency).
