Ubuntu 8.04 on laptop w/Radeon Mobility 9000, need driver

I've got a fresh installation of Ubuntu 8.04 on a laptop with a ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 card. The video is working but I'm sure all the 2D/3D accelerations are disabled. Also changing resolutions has no effect, it just stays at native resolution. Are there any driver options for this setup?

Thanks

Never mind

After further digging (and learning my way around Linux better) I discovered that I am already running the most appropriate driver for that card. It's the open-source ati driver that came with the OS. Thanks for all that pondered my dilemma .

Thanks.
