Greetings,
As a last resort, I'm wondering if anyone here has come across the following issue?
On every Linux distribution I've tried (Ubuntu, Debian, Suse, Fedora, custom kernels 2.6.22-> 2.6.24), I get a hard lock when trying to start X with the fglrx driver (version 8.2 and 8.3).
The system is completely frozen and I have to power off.
32Bit Linux works without issue, so it's just when on a 64bit system.
