ATI Linux driver 8.36.5 no xVideo support?

Hi,
I'm using AMD's 690G (Radeon X1250) chipset with openSUSE 10.2 (64bit) to set up a HTPC for watching HDTV. Current installed driver is 8.36.5 . However, I can't set Mplayer (or Xine) to xv output, since this output isn't detected.

Xorg.0.log reads:

Quote:
(II) Loading extension XVideo
(II) Loading extension XVideo-MotionCompensation
xvinfo reads:

Code:
Hiper:/home/fanformusik # xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
 no adaptors present
Hiper:/home/fanformusik #
Does anyone know if ATI's driver supports xvideo or not?
