drivers for gentoo, is there such a thing

hey, i hav a MSI RX300HM ( supposed to be ATI RADEON), im trying to istall gentoo but i can't seem to configure the XORG, i've tried to use some recommended generic drivers: fgrlx, vga generic driver but they dont work. I really don't want to do much, really if i get it to work with a simple vid resolution it would b fine. The problem is that i can't load graphic mode. Does anyone have a clue to which drivers to use, where they are, and more importantly how to install them ?? tnx.
