Default Post ATi Radeon AIW + Linux?

I'm ready to install RH7.3 to start some tests of a DB project. I would like to use a PC which already has an ATI card in it, so the question is: Has anybody used successfully xawtv or any TV sw with an AIW Radeon on Linux?

Any suggestions?

No experience myself, and what I've found indicates that it won't work with existing stuff.

I think the video4linux project is what you're after, but their site appears to be down atm

Hello Jacc,

Are you aware of this website?
http://gatos.sourceforge.net

It contains enhanced ATI drivers and also a TV viewer/capture program for ATI cards (apparently supports capture with the 8500AIW also)

Hope it helps somewhat
