Driver needed

Hi, i have a soundcard based on the Forte Media 801 chipset (www.fortemedia.com), the windows drivers work for me but they don't have linux drivers. By the way, linux does recognize my card but it doesn't make sound.

I also have a Via AC'97 sound card integrated into my mother board, linux does reconize is, but i have to go to Mandrake Control center and start the configuration tool for my card every time i bootup. So, that's very nasty. Anybody who can help?

Errr.... i don't think that should be happening. Are you getting sound from the onboard controller?
