[NX7010]

Hello everyone,

I m new to this forum. Actuall i hav just bought a new laptop, it is HP Compaq NX 7010. I have even played few games in it. it worked well. But not satisfied when compared to my PC which have Geforce 4 MX in it. MY laptop have ATI Mobility Radeon 9200. Maybe its due to the driver. So now i have questions regarding omega and catalyst using dh mobility modder.

my question is, if i use the omega drivers, will it damage my graphic card. cause i m using a driver which is not supposed to be used right?

another question is, which one is better, the omega or the catalyst? And does it harm my grapic card?

I am by far not an expert in anything computer.... However I have downloaded the Omega drivers and catalyst drivers both. I have used tunexp, drivercleaner, yadda yadda yadda... and have Never had an issue installing anything that I have recieved from this website. No damage has been done to my computer...(of course I havent done any of the stranger modifications either) haha!! The Omega drivers should NOT harm your video card at all. If anything they will make it run faster, better, and more reliably. imho. I.E. I play Everquest and WOW... Before installing Omega drivers I was having all sorts of difficulty with EQ... After installing it was like playing a brand new game. The difference was incredible. Just make sure you follow all of the directions and if you are unsure about Anything dont do it, or ask here.

drivers dont damage video cards. just dont overclock. that'll damage the video card.

btw a mobility 9200 is a tough little performer. I think the reason your desktop performs better with a geforce4 is either that the drivers are more up-to-date, or your processor\ram is better on the desktop.
