Nvidia Geforce FX GO 5700 and Drivers

I have an Acer Aspire 1712SMi notebook with an Nvidia Geforce FX GO 5700 card installed with the onboard Intel graphics disabled. The notebook was manufactured in 03/04 and I currently am using driver version 53.51 dated 01/08/04. The motherboard has an Intel 865 chipset that Intel describes as a desktop chipset. Mind you this notebook is more like a desktop replacement with full size RAM, etc. The Intel processor to AGP controller appears to be using version 5.0.1006.0 dated 01/15/03 and the processor to I/O driver appears to have the same version and date. I am somewhat of a beginner tweaker and have been told I would achieve better graphics by updating the motherboard chipset driver and then upgrading to the 61.12 detonator driver. Any suggestions or guidance? I am an avid gamer and what to squeeze all the beauty and speed I can from this wonderful piece of equipment. Thanks!

Forceware

There are two over clocking programs you can use. First though you will need to install Forceware. After installing that you can then install RIVA Tuner or CoolBits reg enhance.

These will allow you to overclock your card. I use Forceware and Coolbits on all of my computers. Forceware monitors your card and coolbits unlocks the overclocking.
Hope that helps.
