New Mobile Desktop

So here's the deal. I've save up some money to buy a new computer. I'm going to be getting a high-power gaming PC. I've been looking at some different brands. I've Narrowed it down to Alienware( probably an Area-51 m17x), Voodoo PC, and Falcon Northwest. I was wondering what are the advantages and disadvantages to each brand?
What I Need/Want:
~Laptop
~High Memory
~High video processing power
~High RAM/ROM
~Decent battery life

your input would be much appreciated

Re: New Mobile Desktop

Don't get an Alienware, seriously.

Do you really need that a powerful notebook/laptop? You can get a machine 2-3 times as fast for half the money.
If you absolutely have to buy a laptop/notebook, say because you are homeless, or like to travel a lot every week, then ok get one. From the choises you put forwared and if money were no issue, I would go for the Falcon. I would get the alienware only after an alien anal probe on me.

Are you sure you need such a powerful notebook? You can buy a very cheap and powerful enough one for everyday tasks and work, and buy a powerful desktop for gaming (more powerful than the notebook you are looking for) and still save a lot of money.

Re: New Mobile Desktop

if you still geting a gaming laptop dont take the alianwear, my nighber has one for a year give or take and it broake 3 times!
voodoopc are oaseme! but they are old and expensive the new one is 13" and its not for gaming.....
before you get the falcon check out the sager 9262. if you have some spair cash you can castumaize it for 500$
custom laptops - XOTIC PC - custom notebooks - gaming laptops - gaming notebooks

personaly i think that the laptops you are geting aren't justfing the cost but if you want it and can afored it then go for it
