Compaq Presario A944CA won't boot from CD...
I have a brand new Compaq Presario A944CA that I just purchased today. I'm trying to downgrade from Vista to XP but I have a problem...
I have the XP disc inserted and have rebooted the machine, it get's to the "press any button to install from cd" screen and after I do press a key, I hear my drive etc running but it just stays on a black screen after that. If it help, I already have Native SATA disabled in the BIOS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very, very much in advance!!!

Why on Earth do you have native sata disabled in the bios?
