Display driver

i have a notebook and the display driver is ATI raaedon x300. whenever i try to install the driver its says setup cant continue please install s standard VGA driver before running setup.. i tried to remove all previous version of driver using driver cleaner and doing it in vga enable safe mode. still not resolving. ATI cards has this problem .but how to resolve it properly please help me

System Specs

Have you allowed the system to install the VGA compatible driveer? Uninstall any current driver and reboot, then allow the system to install the VGA driver. After that you can run the notebook graphics driver setup.
