Old Dell Inspiron Driver problem

Hi folks, I must apologise in advance, I am a bit of a nub when it comes to drivers, and such =/

Anyways, I am using my old Dell Inspiron 9100 with an
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 (ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 AGP (0x4E50)) Graphics card, for when I am at university. I want a driver that is the most up to date and optimal for gaming, the latest driver I can find on the Dell website was in 2005 =/

I was recommended to Omega Drivers and I am assuming that the latest driver I can use from teh site is the
Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.252 (Catalyst 6.5)

Am I correct? I dont suppose anyone can say if this is even going to be good for me? or should I stick wth the old 2005 driver that is on the Dell website?

Thanks alot folks =)
