arrow Gaming Laptops / samll computers

I was wondering, what are some really nice laptops/small gaming machines that are powerful yet not that expensive. I was looking for something that would work real nice with counter strike, and some of the games comming out in the future, Doom 3, half life 2 etc.

Thx for any and all help

System Specs

Have you looked into the Small Form Factor PC's by Shuttle?
They are not complete (you need to add some components),
but they can be quite powerful, and are very small.

I don't know how much they cost though . . .

Don't know where in the world you live, but the samll Form factors should get you what you want.

If you look at the NFoce2 based one (at shuttle, who are not the only ones to make them, epox are another)
You get pretty much everything you need, Add a CPU (eg lowest priced Athlon XP "Barton") 2x sticks of 256Mb DDR333/400 an 120/80Gb harddrive, keyboard/mouse & montor.

You have a nice setup.

Need better 3D graphics in the future then a new graphics card when you really need to.

Shouldn't be to much (£500 to £700).
