on the asus site, you can use the xp drivers of the A6U notebook, for every hardware. They work with the F3U as well.
I got a same problem, installed XP on the 'Vista only' F3U. But i have no sound. I have installed realtek audio drivers (which are correct) but i didnt get any sound. When i check the device manager i see that there are legacy sound drivers installed (which isnt the good one obviously). How can i uninstall these legacy audio drivers? i checked the control panel, i did a search on my notebook for these legacy audio drivers but everything came up with zero results. would this mean a fresh install of windows to clear this one up, or is there a way to clear this. (may messing around in the registry or.. i dont know)
edit: did you mean the Wireless drivers, or the Lan drivers. Wireless can be downloaded the way i said before. but in my case Lan wouldnt work then, i had to download the
RTL8168 ethernet driver.
