Compaq and HP
I have people always asking me what kind of laptop to get, and I havnt ever had any kindof problems with HP and Compaq laptops, but I also always hear people that dont like HP and Compaq.....what I need is some horror stories about these laptops...personal or just that youve heard...what kindof problems and such...I need a good arguement of why NOT to get Compaq or HP...I have had my share of problems with the desktops, I just need to know what kindof problems youve had with the laptops....

YG007 is on a distinguished road

I have a compaq laptop, and after 1 month of "careful" use, the LCD display is flimsy.

In other words, when I open/close the laptop... there is little/no effort required to move the screen (too loose). That is the only complaint I have of this laptop, otherwise its a great laptop

Right now I am on a Presario 2135US. This is my third Compaq notebook and I haven't had any problems I didn't cause myself. One time I messed up my keyboard by spilling pop in it and they fixed it for free!
