FireElements is on a distinguished road

Hi. Which laptop?

Here's my choice.

http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh...#defaultAnchor

$750. I figure I can buy more RAM since I'll probably need it.

$850

I don't want to know about other laptops, I just want a choice between these two . Thanks. I'm leaning towards the HP.

Wow thats a hard choice, one gets your a better processor and more ram but has a sucky graphics card. Vice versa for the other.

Though if I were you I would probably go with the HP, since neither can play any top end games meaning the extra 1 gig of ram would probably not be used TOO often unless you specifically do RAM intensive stuff.

I'd much rather have a larger screen and a discrete video card. So I say go with the HP!

The HP is a 17" while the Toshiba is a 15.4"

yet the HP is using a slower 1.6Ghz Turion than the Toshiba's T2350 at 1.83Ghz

HP has 1GB ram while the Toshiba has 2GB

HP uses 6150 while the Toshiba uses the GMA 950... makes not much difference IMO

Go for the HP one, its 17" screen will serve its purpose if you frequently watch movies or anime, while you can upgrade the ram as and when you need it.

As for laptop upgrades, as long as you can find the parts you want, you can upgrade it yourself.
