Anyway, I've got one of the original Dell XPS's before they started coming out with the LED ones and fancycrap (a month after buying my own, bastards.)

My issue is with this laptop, I'm trying to run Oblivion on it using the newest Omega Drivers and before I can even boot up the game after the launcher the program crashes on itself and throws up the windows report error dialog.

I know good and well that this laptop can run Oblivion without a hitch, however, this was back when I was using Dell's extremely outdated drivers for the laptops 256mb Radeon 9800. Again, I state that I HAVE RUN Oblivion on this machine before

Does anyone know of a fix or work-around, or had similar trouble, to this problem?

Basic specs:
3.4 ghz Pentium 4 HT
1gig of ram
256mb Mobility Radeon 9800
