Sad Alienware Area-51 5620P Graphic issue

Hello, I would like to start out saying this is a great site and I will enjoy visiting frequently. Well I have Area-51 5620P Laptop. It has the ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 graphics card. When I turn the computer on there is a very large anount of graphic pixalation. I wish I could show you maybe I will take a picture of it and add it. But once Windows starts up it goes away. Everyonce in a while there maybe a glitch or two. But not too bad. Is the a Radeon problem or is it the motherboard? Also can this Graphics card be swapped out? Thanks to all that can help me out.
Also I did update the ATI drivers

System Specs

I had the same issue. My screen is entirely unreadable now, I might can make out a letter here and there. Took it to a few gurus and they said it looked like the section where the video card is on the motherboard got so hot that the circuit board is beginning to separate. I bet if you mash really hard on the area around your I, J, and K keys, it will clear up. Best bet would be to try to find someone to fix it now. New motherboards for these things are about 150 on ebay, or if you call Alienware they will direct you to a site that has refurb'd boards for around 350. I was very displeased when I called them, it was a week after the warranty let up, and they treated me like I didn't exist. Good luck on getting this fixed, don't let it get completely toasted like I did!
