??? Any Idea of ATi NT4 Driver?

I bought a Compaq Presario 1538AP laptop this week and need to install NT4 on it for 1024x768 resolution. The video adapter is ATi Mobility IGP 340M. I have found its driver for 2kXp and 9xMe but none for NT4. any idea? Is it possible to mod one from the Omega's for 2kXp?

I have modded one but failed. Any idea?

I used ATI 7.73 (4.3.4017) as a base. There are individual folders of \9X, \NT4, \W2K, \XP and \XP64 in it. When I ran setup.exe, it told me that I need DirectX 8 or above. DX8 doesn't support to be installed on NT4. So I directly modded atiintag.inf (attached below) in \BN_03929 under \NT4 folders, and selected it within [Control Panel | Display | Settings | Display Type... | Change...]. Is it true that these *.dll / *.sys / ... must co-work with DirectX 8? Is my modded atiintag.inf with bugs?

Cool!

Hi, gang. I have succeeded to install a driver for ATi IGP340M on my Compaq PR1538AP!!!

I downloaded a nt4 video driver and control panel utility (SP23749) for ATi Radeon M7500. Then I used Patje's DH Mod tool V1.1 to mod the driver. It works...

God haven't forgot me...
