Dell Latitude d600 laptop.ethernet driver problem

i have this laptop and the internal high speed ethernet needs controllers or drivers or something cuz it don't work it's a network adapter so i didn't think it had drivers i'm new at all this.i tried leting windows install the necessary stuff but it can't find it so that tells me whoever had this machine before reformated the harddrive,anyway can anyone help.?

System Specs

You can find all the necessary drivers for the Dell Latitude D600 right HERE (which is for Windows XP). That particular laptop "usually" shipped with 2 network cards: a wireless card that was usually an Intel Pro Wireless, and a Broadcom 570x Gigabit Ethernet. I would try downloading those 2 drivers from their first before going with the other ones listed.

2 year old thread, Banach. I have a feeling MA3Br0nz3 might have fixed the issue by now... or bought a new laptop since then.
