IS this laptop too good to be true?

Hi,

I have been advising a friend who wants a desktop replacement laptop to do a bit of office work but also to watch DVDs, so he would like a large screen so i suggested some of the 17" models. I was looking on Dell and it was about £800 but then I found this Acer:

http://www.acernotebooks.co.uk/Acer_.../version-1.asp

For the spec and the price it seems too good to be true

ANy thoughts on something I may have missed?

Any other suggestions for another good 17" option

Thanks in advance

nana

that's nice indeed. If it's only for work, internet and dvd's, it's good enough.
Games? not an option IMO the intel graphic adapter just won't do.
As far as I know Acer has some pretty decent laptops and support.
