Ahhh... that "first car" feeling... I remember it well.
Nice ride for a first car. Have fun and don't get caught speeding!

LOL- yeah I just noticed that--
Oh well, give my regards to your friend!
Edit- BTW, my first car was a 1980 Datsun Nissan (yes, that's right) 200sx -it was a longitudinal mounted engine/ rear wheel drive car.. manual shift. A very fun little car! 30,000 original miles when I got it.

My first car was the same, an old Dodge Aries K, the heat worked, but that was about everything. I felt like King of the World when I had that car though.

no no, its still present time. i still have my first car, bout 2 years now. the only thing diffrent between now and then is the barn smell is gone and heat kinda works.
funny thing is, i can floor that car and hear the engine start screaming like a bat outa hell but i still crawl along. lol, i have to get a running start to make it up a hill most times. medium sized hill, hit it at about 55MPH, get to the top and im just barly over 30MPH.
as for my 2nd car, i had my dads blazer for about 2 weeks.... 2 very long weeks. nothing worked on that car.
and then i had the vette. everything works on it, not that it has a whole lot. anyways, i went from a POS sunbird to a 69 corvette in about 5 months. not bad if i do say so my self.
