Sorry man, don't think anyone is listening.
I was goin to use paint, flip it and put a blue and purple X through the picture and say "there ya go" but it doesn't seem that funny now that I actually thought about it.

Nice! But we now have a new size allowed.. 500x150. I don't suppose you could make the first one bigger?.. Red was a good choice since it matches my avatar too. Great job!
edit: Can you change Pluvious to Elisha instead?

would you be happy losing the top 25px to keep it in proportion?
if not then i will carry on creating more texture around it.

NICE.. thanks man.. that came out great. Those are sure bigger..I think I can fit more in there now so I might dabble in creating my own. Any basic tips for a newbie?.. I'm assuming its a matter of resizing, compressing size and masking?

No problem
There are many many ways to make signatures depending on the outcome you want and your own style. The signature for you is perhaps the simplest i have ever made but i think it was the outcome the image you wanted needed. I simply started with the size i wanted (500*150 now) then pasted the image on that - sezied her i think i enhanced it a little, perhaps duplicating and setting the top layer to hard light then raising the levels so she was brighter and lowering the transparency of that layer. Then it was simply using some brushes and making some shapes and duplicating them where i wanted them. It could of been more complicated but it would have taken over the image.
There are many tutorials on designing and if you look there are sites dedicated to signatures which have specific signature tutorials.

THANKS!.. I think it came out pretty good. I can see how making them can suck up a whole day though. Pretty fun, I should have done it sooner.
Your sig is really well done.. I love the colored smoke, nice touch.

Yeah you helped.. helped me off my ass to do it. I just messed around and found it a lot easier then I had thought. I was concerned about the loss of quality in compressing it but ended up not bothering. 60k might be too big.. but shhh.

hey dan, thanks for the adjustment size on the avi, but now the other problem is that the file size is too big. we're only allowed 32kb files, but this particular file i want is 116kb, which i doubt you can do anything about. it's all good though, thanks for your help anyways.
@ rasta: you're weird
