Into the fire 2
I decided to post this since everyone liked the first one. Same time and place as the first one just a different shot and angle.

I love the details. You must have a good camera.

For everyone who is curious:
Kodak DX6490, 4MP, 10x Optical zoom ($399 us). Its an easy to use fun camera with a great lens. Both of the fire pics where taken without a tripod, 10x optical zoomed all the way out (the fire was hot!! Couldn't get to close.) and I used the speed macro to freeze the movement of the flames.
This is my first digital camera and I am just an amateur. Thanks for all the nice comments.

This can very possible be my next camera, i really like the quality of the pics taken with it. Not that my Nikon coolpix 885 is bad....but i believe this is a better camera, and i'd really like 10x zoom

nice one! I have the slightly updated model - same features - but 5mp - it's a great camera and I'm sure yours is too!

These are v. good cameras - with the res that comes out of the camera though - you don't need the 10x zoom! lol
