Jousting! - The Maryland Fair

Jousting is a fine sport. Something nicely violent - both lances broke in this run.

This is (crop of) a picture of the Maryland Renaisance fair jousting tournament. It was taken with a 5 megapixel camera (from faaar away).

I'd rather play football than watch it.... and I do! I'd rather joust than watch jousting... but I don't have the money or the training. So for me .... yes, it is better than MNF!

That is a killer picture. I don't think that the moment of snapping the picture could have been timed any better.
