there are four, since we have been watching the brood of 9 was reduced to 7 within a day or two of a snow, then two or three to foxes we are sure, but we have only 4 now, and pappa watches them, and momma watches this one quite closely, not sure why, but they are intelligient and will not tolerate anyone else close except Liz and I, we feed them bread and assorted veg.
