This is just a portion of the entire amount of weapons in this household, there was a time when I used to hunt with my father, my father used to hunt wild game in Montana, and my brother hunted red deer and boar in Germany, these weapons were all collected for documentation and insurance purposes before going in the massive safe my father purchased, they will only see the light of day when necessary. I suppose my brother and my father treat them as a Samurai would treat his sword, they are well taken care of.

I just wish I could afford to get a nice target pistol now, not a kiling weapon but a competition weapon, but after I injured the nerves in my hand, I cant hold them very long, thus ending my lackluster hunting career.

I love the old english and german designs but I am afraid we can only afford the replicas, My brother has several finnish weapons of superior quality an hitting power used by strike troops for several countries, to include automatic weapons which are tied up in customs right now. I for one enjoy the engineering and art of the weapon, but also the functionality. I watched a fellow use a fantastic sniper weapon some years ago and I have to admit that hitting anything accurately at over 2000 yards with a rifle is phenomenal, but he pull of head and sternum and neck shots with heavy grained bullet or AP round before the target knew what hit them...
But then...what are weapons for anyway?

I believe so, although I think the shotgun is rather old, so it may even be hand engraved!

I have some scoped weapons but they are mostly the trendy nylon stock crap, several have gunstocks my father made, but for the most part it will all stay locked up until my father passes away.
