This is the greatest thing I have ever seen made I think. Makes me draw more then read the posts. You should post in every topic in this forum so I can draw instead of reading.

I just leave random pages open and go do something else, I wasn't drawing
Careful with your mouse cursors with right clicking. I was able to make the regular cursor reappear and make things all wonky. You'll need to hide it again.
You need a regional erase. It's just a white line that's thicker than 1px.
Then allow saving to your website where we can go and view them, or add a button to the sig to display a random one.

yea...i'll hafta re-do my loops to mask the mouse, cuz now it's on(load) so it confuses it if you right click

I find that squeezing it all on the side is a bit tight.... on the bottom would make you have more choice and bigger buttons no?

first of all, I think there shold be some buttons outside the field where you draw, along the bottom preferrably, like an indash car CD player, with a border and various adjusting features on the left and right column meating at the top with several other colour features anad filters on the top to cap it, follow me...oh yeah...and the across the field there should be a gradient button with most of the buttons on the left converging behind the scrimmage line covering the wide reciever, then as they move up the field and break to the right with most of the entire team focused on the one button the other button penetrates through the forward defense doing a reverse dogleg then jumping up to get the ball right..follow me so far...okay..then the offense will mow the defense down as they gain territory and advance the ball all the way to the endzone where two segments of the offense should meet and insure that the reciever is covered....
got me?

I can look into buttons on the bottom, but really, my next plan is auto-hiding toolbars, so that i can have it fan off the right side and expand as far as i want it to

is a great idea for a sig, really reminds me of etch-a-sketch for some reason, I think it is because the lines of the pencil have that jagged look, also as I seem to have the urge to constantly hold down left click while i am doodling
good work PJ
[edit] for me at least I just noticed if you draw off the edge of the sig then come back onto the sig you pen is "always on" until you left click again
[edit2] and it also draws a straight line from where you leave the sig to where yo re-enterthe drawing area - which is actually quite handy, whether intentional or not

I like the buttons on the side, why put them at the bottom? The vertical space is limited enough as it is!

the leaving the bounding box and coming back issues fall into the same category as right clicking...I just need to do a loop so it constantly checks for mouse status and re-adheres to the rules, as oppsoed to doing things on(load) or on(release)
oh, and richie, i'm making that tutorial you wanted

HERE is the tutorial. Once I get a bit more spare time I'll put together a downloadable .FLA file in both complete and "started" form so you can follow along and comapir.

Prodigal, did you remove the palette? Because I can't see it. As a matter of fact I never could. Or is there something I need to do to make it show up? Pull some levers, roll some boulders, that kind of stuff?

probably has to do with your version of flash player...I'll tinker with backwards compatibility tonight, cuz I think for somereason I accidentally have it locked to flash 8 only, and most people still have 7 and don't know it

"SHODDY Ted , SHODDY"
edit: just checked, works now
edit no.2: COOL! I could play with that explosion button all day!
