It takes a real man to accept his humility with such grace...

Lol!
Anyway, i did say there may be a delay in deciding a winner, that doesn't mean one will not be announced. Lots of SOTW dedicated sites take a week to post the winner, so essentialy on there first week the winner wouldn't of been announced until the end of the 2nd week if you understand? I hope it won't take that long here at DH and the reason for this innitial delay, as you all know, is to do with no voting system. I think creating a poll for everyone would be abit scrappy.
We could say that you could all PM me (and maybe Daedal) who you want to win. If the competition ends Sunday night, i'll give you till Monday 00:00 so you have 24hours to chose and PM me. Then i'll announce the winner the next day? A system like that would allow all to vote, not be messy and be reasonably fast. how about that?
To Gazz79 : I am very happy you've shown up, like you say we should expect some serious PS players with this. Although like some other members have said we are not a dedicated graphics site, so this is basicaly a 'bit on the side' for us. It may run abit bumpy the first week but after that i expect it to go pretty smooth.
To All : Thanks alot for all your entries, it was more popular than i think any of us expected. Now we know we can keep this thing running. Sorry for the delay with the winner, but it will be sorted!
P.S. Daedal - could you unsticky and lock 'sotw 01' ? (shall i ask for the powers of a mod? )

Lol, your sig is embedded with flash and is way much larger than the 75 kb maximum we all had to meet. You are more likely to be disqualified.
Just messing with ya, love your sig and although we both know it doesn't meet the rules by a long shot, I love the way you made it.
@ Danjufo: Thanks for the warm welcome, I was just looking for the latest omega or dh drivers (6.3, still not released) when I stumbled across this part of the forum. Decided to randomly pick an sig from my photobucket account and enter. I hope I can teach you guyssome nice tricks. Feel free to look at the tutorials at Deadly designs any time. Some of them we're even written by me (gazz on there).
Edit: the downtime last night was probably caused by a hacker. Should be up and running now.

LOL my sig is 12kb, which is smaller than 90% of the sigs you people make. A few months back I tried to start a smaller-sig-initiative but people poked me with sticks. I care about filesize more than you can possibly imagine...
But yeah it is in flash which is probably an unfair advantage. Who do I have to bribe?

Have you ever tried using the Zoloft character, you have a good sense of humour and it would be a hoot if you used some popular cartoons and just "had your way" with them..LOL

I'm in a rush trying to get ready for class, I'll do some more later.
edit: If you want to have fun while I'm gone...

Don't forget to optimize your results. The filesize on its own is pretty big since I didn't want to cut any initial quality.

Looks like there are less entries this week.
Personnaly, I've been extremely busy as of late. We're pulling off 50+ hour weeks at work and balancing the rest of my time in between my family, girlfriend and now the puppy and the new apartment maintenance has kept me, well, out of the loop basically. In short, if I appear to be away from the competitions for a bit, don't worry. I'm still monitering but it might be a while until I actually start to participate.

I'm still interested in leaving this running though. I think it's a great idea and overtime, people will start to pick up on it.

How about if everyone who enters gets to vote for one entry (not their own)? This may result in several winners but who cares as you don't win anything anyway.
