I thought about reviving it, but my net connection dodgy atm and the place seems really quiet for whatever reason. maybe if things pick up and BT fix my bloody telephone line we'll start again

lol oh well, i'd of needed some time to use PS anyway, whilst i had no net connection my PC was just used for music and films, which meant it was hardly ever switched on.

If it's not running anymore why do we still have the discussion stickied?

tell you what, make some suggestions for a topic for possible SOTW, and if one catches my eye we'll try to get going again
I always enjoyed doing them even if I am carp at it

how about something broad to get us going, like 'gadgets', (pen drives, mobiles, mp3 plyers , that kinda thing?)

Ideas??

I finally started mine today (and I mean only just started), but I'm already at 60kb with lots of work left to do
pushing it.
I'd forgotten what a fantastical waste of time this sig comp could be btw
it's great, I should be working my ass off right now, but instead I'm sat on it playing with GIMP

ipod is cute, but I preffered jufo

and you pair are nuts, mine's terrible
for some reason the gadget freak inside me couldn't come up with anything half decent.

I'll shut the poll this weekend, and start a new competition start of the week with album covers for the theme (unless anyone else has better request ).
depending on interest I might run it for 2 weeks at a time, but I'm hoping we'll get more entries as people realise it's started back up

album covers is dodgy because that suggests already completed images to use. maybe just bands? or music as a whole so someone could do it with an instrument?

or something less predictable like the theme being 'blue'

yeah, but gadgets for a theme didn't stop sandok shamelessly ripping off a multi-million pound Apple ad campaign (kidding mate)

and I used the Flaming Lips album cover for my current sig (a link), which I quite like and put a decent bit of work into (more so than my current SOTW entry lol).
but right enough, bands could work. it's vague enough that you could incorperate album covers, live shots, trademark instruments etc.

well couple days to think, couple days for you guys to make more suggestions
