Wrote this about 4 years ago ...

In our lives we all meet that one special person,
Who has changed our lives forever,
Whether it be for a short time or a long time,
That love will always remain in their hearts.

Life is short but Love is eternity,
One heart, two souls beating as one.

A silver Jasmine on a midsummer’s day,
Shining like the moon on the ground where it lay,
Eyes glimmering like sun on the ocean,
A moment in time to treasure and hold.

True love brings wisdom and honesty,
One heart, two souls beating as one.

Autumn brings a quick winter chill,
Reminds us of dreams we hold within,
For some these dreams we can share,
For others it has come in time, our cross to bear.

That one we hold so dear,
One heart, two souls beating as one.

A moment in time and sharing of souls,
Sobers the heart and the mind,
Touching the dreams of eternity,
Fate is where we will return,

One heart, two souls beating as one.

I used to be really good at poetry. I could write about anything, but now I'm more musically orientated.
