While we walk
While we walk,
nothing comes down like the rain,
inside the darkness terrifies.
A movement slow,
but perceivable helps us
through the mist.
As a dreamer wakes,
we slowly fall to our knees
and find ourselves alone.
In our aloneness we find solace.
While we walk,
our shadow follows,
like that shadow
our emptiness remains with us,
we become a desert.
In circles we run,
amongst standing stones,
slowly the veil falls away.
Until one day,
were born into being.
While we walk,
we see the trees again,
we feel the fallen leaves on our feet,
nature breathes.
The sun rises,
the deer cries,
her rivers are the veins, they flow.
Her powerful waters revive us
from our distance.
In remembrance we breath
with her again,
while we walk.

its me!,
i wrote this a couple of days ago, i live in sheffield (UK) and was watching the rain come down to flood us, luckily my area was ok, it rained all day and all night and then the rivers started breaking their banks and stuff, it sounds a bit gloomy for me this one, it was the greyness rubbing off on my writing.
thanks for the feedback, its well appreciated.
