I will start off by giving a little history. I wrote this when I woke up because I felt I had to. It isn't anything special, its the words from my mouth. It may not be poetic but it's expression. There is probably errors, and it may not flow but I shall share it for fun so yeah. My friend has lived a life with everything handed to her. She always felt like she was better than everyone else. Just lately she hit a hard reality check and her life has changed completely. She had everything taken from her. She cheated too many people to get what she wanted and no one would help her in her time of need. She then turned to the big man upstairs, and has led a much more successful life since.

When you fall its for the best

Sometimes you wonder what you want,
Sometimes you wonder what to say
the voice voice insde will forever haunt
You wont know this untill today

You think you're pretty
you think you're sexy
you think your the best
you're above the rest

You walk the streets
with nothing to lose
you see a young man
who left you a bruise

You run to the cops
they thought you lied
With no one left
you wander again

You then go home
the door is locked
with everyone home
you have no choice
no one to fall back on

You sit and think
all silent and meek
praying for God
to change your life

When you fall its for the best
your life is precious
indifferent from the rest
no where to go nothing to do
With only a prayer to save you

I am sorry my friend, my path takes me far from the fields of corn and wheat and the buffalo grass, but my heart is still on the prairie, beneath the bluest and warmest sky, waiting for another spring rain to fall, I can almost taste it with my mind, and feel the west wind again. I miss it very much, but I am actually doing what I enjoy now, and learning to love again, with a very beautiful woman, and we live as man and wife. She and I have too many marriages between us to worry about the past, and she heals my soul and I give her comfort and my heart. Funny, both she and I went to the same school together overseas and never knew each other, and here we are together, our paths crossed again two years ago, and I will not let her slip out of my grasp again, for as long as we have together, no matter where she goes I go, and she finds her place by my side. We dont fight Greg, we dont argue, we dont find fault with each other, we just live and we just love, and care for each other...it is a truly foriegn country to me...more foriegn than the lands I have visited and lived in...I find the one place that I have never had the courage to explore is my own heart, now I feel as if I can.

keep the faith Greg...we have known too many women to be saps..but you got to admit...got have some heart and believe in something, I got faith in love, and the lord above...maybe that sustains me after all the crap I brought on myself all these years...time to put away the sword and take up the plow man...but you....conquer your undiscovered country too.
