Gona put 2 X1900 on SLI board????
[EDIT] So you are going to use them as two seperate GFX cards, right? I see no other reason putting 2 x X1900 on SLI board....

sorry i can't mention the price.....
uh the growing pains... er... wtf.. what would i use there? ... growing goodness? of starting a business related to selling retail parts/ and building computers for retail...
If i told you a price, everyone would probably be running around the web looking for a deal that even attempts to touch it....
we'll see what happens when it gets here.... I just wanna see 3Dmark05 push out a solid 12000 @ stock.... and 3dmark06 not appear as a slideshow
wanna play a few games @ 2048x1536 with settings crazy high...
the 2 cards are indeed going to run 2 3D screens at once...
I'm just hoping it WORKS they way i intend them to.... gotta figure out how the games are going to load... for example... two boxing a game such as lineage2 with full 3d Acceleration...
or major stress testing..... loading unreal tournament 2004 up twice... running demos on both.... ... see how the dual cores fair
don't know.... although they aren't going to be in Crossfire mode.... it'll be interesting to figure out how things will work...
may end up just getting a x1900 AIW... and use the other x1900xtx in another future machine...

Any reason you didnt go for a x1900xt and crossfire card. Then you'd have the best of both worlds. You could run them as seperate cards as your intention or in crossfire if and when it was needed.
I only mention it as thats what im hoping to use when I start my new build in April.

Note: Sell you card every refresh and upgrade t the latest
and it will be cheaper / better in the long run... I';d never try
to set on hardware for that long... Especally with the faster
rate thing have ben progressing, it not like 1 year = 3 in tech
years now its more like 1 year = 5

A valid point. To be honest thats the only reason im not building my new rig now. Still I wish you lots of many happy years with your hardware i'm sure you'll be impressed.
PS: I play on the Lionna server as Lelisevis. Not sure what server you play on.

perhaps.... give me a good few months to get well established....
still fixing up a few things in this old building.. love the vault (building used to be a bank.. so i've got my own large walk in vault...)
the vault will hold all my more expensive parts and stock... or stock not sitting on shelves at the time..
Someone would need a good amount of explosive to get the door open....
My server and router and security system all reside inside the vault.... someone breaks into the building... they are instantly caught on camera and there is no way they can get to the vault....
Bonus is the fact that it's roughly 10*C cooler in there then what it is outside.... My server cpu and motherboard temps are now registering 7*C under load....
Actually it is somewhat cheaper to get a good card... and sell it before the new one shows up... even if it's just for a little less then the new product.... it's better then waiting it out and having to spend nearly 3/4 of the total on a new card...
Sell card, pay a rough difference of 150 bucks tops for the new one.... it's like getting paying for a low end card.. .but getting the best card ....
all i can say though is it's hard as hell to build up to that kind of system

my main is on seig... but atm, with c4... the damn game is bugged all to hell with dual cores and windows 64 bit occasionally.... i've figured out a solution....
but for some reason i can't seem to keep a solid stable connection on any of the servers.. and getting quite often the generic SERVER FULL error....
BUT... i can play on the PTS just fine... it's also more fun...
my character
I can kill a aden or godad guard in 3 seconds.... with no loss of hp
1800patk and 670atk speed... although it's not heavy armor... i thoroughly enjoy this setup.. S grade heavy sucks for a DD BD...
And you don't wanna know what my atk speed is with tallum heavy and dual kesh

ok figure you buy a $600 video card , 6 mouths when another refesh show
up just short of or at release later its worth say $400. Ok now you sell that
card for 400 and 200 and walla you on the top end again.
Or you as a very ruff scale, wait a year the card worths maybe $250-$300,
wait two years $100-250 to wait 3 years
Figure that ok not only are you missing out on the "latest and greatest"
your useing older hardware, mabye not playing what you want how you
want or as well as you'd like... missing out on new features, watching you
preformance drop as focus of driver go to the newer hardware... etc...
So I spend mabye $200 - 400 a year and have the "latest and greatest"
alot of people wait a year or two then cray when they see that $600 price
tag... it alot easier to swallow $200 then it does $600 stright.... Seems
cheaper to me thug you might spend a bit more in the long run but you
geting 110% of what you pay for vs missing out....
Its make it easier and more affordable to "stay on top" . Not only do you
get that but reveres what I said befre the drivers are being tuned and are
fucus twards you hardware. You can run the lestest and greatest the way
you want. to enjoy the new features etc.... rember you could die to marrow
so try to enjpy each day as much as you can.... you don't do that with things
you not happy with...

Well maybe to you it's easier and more affordable to stay on top, but to me it's a waste of money considering how quickly ATI and NVIDIA are kicking out cards. I don't need to game at 2048 x 1536 with all the bells and whistles turned all the way up. Nor do I need the latest and greatest vid cards for bragging rights or to stroke my ego.
As far as enjoying each day as much as I can, I'm way ahead of you, bro. It's called being content with the little that I have. I don't need the fastest/greatest technology to make my day an enjoyable one
