Will someone please help me?

i want to build a great gaming computer, but im not good with picking the parts because i dont know compatibility and all that, i dont kno if it will fit in the case i pick out or fans and motherboards, im just really confused.

will someone pick me out the parts to make the PC?

only requiremant- 7800GTX

Will someone list me out all the parts, including sound cards and fans and cases and just everything.

for the PC, i have a budget of $1000-1200.

Please use newegg.com or another site that could be lower prices, itd be cool if the place could put all the parts together for you and then just ship the whole thing to you already set up.

Please someone help me out on this one.

Ill be very thankful.

hey, well if you want a gaming computer then go with nothing but AMD. get a socket 939 mobo with an nividia nforce 4 ultra or sli chipset. get the sli if you would like to upgrade to 2 7800GT's in the future.
MSI, Asus, and DFI are probably the best mobo makers out there. If you want extremem overclocking performance go DFI, but the bios is more confusing. if you want stability and the ability to oc/performance then check out Asus.

you can either go with an A64 an x2 or a 100 series opteron. if you want to save some money and overclock go with either the 3000+ or 3200+ venice core A64's or an opteron.

RAM, go with some good DDR400 if you want to OC, if you don't want to oc then you can get by with value...but I emphasize 'get by' I would still suggest you get some good stuff. OCZ and Corsair typically make high quality RAM

for hard drives go with SATA, I would recommend Seagate.

for a sound card stick with creative. you can save a little cash by going with an Audigy 2, unless you want the newest cards.

for your case, find something that you like... and get a standard ATX... as long as you get an atx mobo and an atx case then you're good to go.

please, do not stick with the psu that comes with the case if there is one... get a high quality psu... OCZ, Antec, Enermax, PC power and cooling, Silverstone and Seasonic all make quality psu's

for optical drives you need to decide what you want... DVD drive or DVD burner...

hmm... i think that's about it... you will save a lot of money if you are willing to put everything together yourself. it's really quite easy. I'll put together a sample rig for you... but just as a suggestion for you to go off of... I'm not going to spend time to make sure every little detail will work perfectly together.

you can really get any case you want...read some reviews/check manufactures site... but this case should offer pretty decent cooling, and it comes with some fans and has spaces to add more fans if you want. I have the X-Navigator and it looks pretty sweet... it's loud but it cools wonderfully!

there, like I said this is just a sample I put together in about 10 min... basically I didn't waste much time picking everything out... just went with things I was sumwhat familar with... I hope this helps you by giving you a starting point.

Remember, do some reaseach yourself and pick what will best suit your needs... you are ultimately the one who will build and use your computer... you'll get a better rig if you build it yourself and you'll feel a great sense of accomplishment

I'm going to use it for gaming, and i guess AMD since thats the better gaming processor.

You might want to take a look at Monarch Computers www.monarchcomputers.com . They have a very good reputation, and will built/test/ship a system to your specs.
